Overview:
The Copper Star Poetry Series, featuring monthly poetry readings by established and emerging Arizona poets, takes place on the third Wednesday of every month from 7-9 p.m. Readings are followed by a discussion with the poets, and publications by featured readers are for sale between sets and following the reading.

Bryan Hall

Bryan Hall has conducted poetry workshops at the Mesa Arts Center and served as an assistant editor of the poetry journal Merge. In 2003, he published a chapbook of poetry entitled Walks on Wheels, and he was recently chosen as a finalist in the River Styx International Poetry Contest.  He holds a BA in Communication from Arizona State University.

Kevin Hall, father of Bryan Hall, is sometimes known as “the working man’s poet.” Much of his poetry, which is astutely observational and wry in nature, has appeared in local journals.
